Richmond Parkway, Richmond, CA 94806, USAWent to my friend’s co-op last night and made a vegan version of my persimmon cookies for the first time. I’m happy to report they were a hit, especially with the storm of finals upon us.
For the last segment at the Future Canvas in SF, there was an awesome show by Rana Sobhany (@ranajune) who is an iPad DJ! Check her out in this video from the event.
Also part of the Future Canvas art gallery were pieces of interactive iPads on the walls. You could walk up and try out different art apps for the iPad. There was even one hooked to a projector so everyone could see what was going on.
A team at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) have used a Microsoft Kinect plus MIT developed software to create something right out of Steven Spielberg’s Minority Report. I wonder when we’ll start seeing these in our kitchens and living rooms.
