I am celebrating this Thanksgiving with my good friends at MIT. We did a potluck and the food turned out great! We have an epic turkey that is covered in bacon strips with a delicious bacon and potato stuffing. We also have macaroni and cheese, potato salad, green bean casserole, salad, creamed onions, rice and beans, peach cobbler and flan. Wow. I am very thankful for my family and friends. Above all, I am most thankful for God’s blessings this year. God has given me a wonderful husband and allowed me to continue my education at another amazing institution. I hope everyone survives their respective Thanksgiving feast!
We placed 4th in the Ashdown Coffe Hour jigsaw puzzle contest. Here is our completed masterpiece. It’s a 300 piece puzzle of the Neuschwanstein Castle.
If you are like me and have fallen in love with natural scrolling in Lion, but can not enjoy such scrolling while using Windows, look no further because Windows reverse scrolling is here! Thanks to my awesome Twitter friends @JosephRosario and @dnwrld, there is a script you can run to get reverse scrolling on Windows. All the details are outlined here: http://www.howtogeek.com/57542/how-to-get-the-worst-os-x-lion-feature-in-wind… Happy scrolling, —Sarah Sent from my iPhone
I just noticed him standing there in a corner of MIT Barker Engineering Library. You should stop by and say hi if you’re ever in the area. He looks quite lonely. On another note, this library is awesome because it’s in the dome!! They also just set up new group study areas on the 8th floor. Each study area comes with a white board for brainstorming and/or solving problems.
Boston Dynamics is one insane robotics company. Look at how amazing this humanoid robot is moving! All that’s left is for Skynet to arise, and then we’re all doomed.
